If you need to make changes to your scheduled test, you can do this online at any time, or by contacting one of Pearson’s customer service teams during working hours, up to 24 hours before your scheduled test time. However, fees may apply. Follow these steps to make changes to your scheduled test:
1 Log in
Go to the Pearson Tests of English website at www.pearsonpte.com. Click on “Register for PTE Academic.” Then click on “My Account” and enter your user name and password to log in to your account. The PTE Academic test that you have scheduled will be listed, and you will have the option to cancel or reschedule.
To cancel your scheduled test, click on “Cancel” next to the relevant test. If you cancel more than seven calendar days before your test date, you will be entitled to a 50% refund. If you cancel seven calendar days or less before the test date, you will not receive a refund and must pay a new test fee if you wish to take the test in the future.
Rescheduling your test means that you keep the test you have scheduled, but change the date, time or location (within the same country). To reschedule your test, click on “Reschedule” next to the relevant test and follow the same steps you took when you initially booked the test. If you reschedule more than seven calendar days before your test date, you will pay an additional 25% of the test fee. If you reschedule seven calendar days or less before the test date, you will have to pay a new test fee in full.
If you do not attend your test at the scheduled time, date and location, it will be recorded as a “No show.” You will not receive a refund of your test fee. To take the test, you will need to schedule a new test and pay the fee again.
